Bill Jorgenson, founder and managing partner of AGreen Energy, launched the company in partnership with five MA dairy farms, New England Organics, a division of Casella Waste Management, and quasar energy group in 2007 to make farms sustainable through processing renewable energy from manure and processed organic foods. AGreen’s digester process results in a zero-waste system that repurposes cow manure and food scraps from the food chain in an environmentally friendly way.
