Five Massachusetts Dairy Farms to Implement Anaerobic Digestion Systems

In October 2010, ground was broken on the Jordan Dairy Farm in Rutland, MA, the first of five anaerobic digestion renewable energy systems in western Massachusetts. The AGreen Energy project brings together five family farms, a regional waste recycling company and an advanced energy technology provider to provide renewable energy in an environmentally friendly way to help sustain MA agriculture.
